Imbibe in Armenia

Haven't heard of Armenia or only have a vague idea of its geographic location, time to look it up as this is a country to watch.   Rarely can anyone say today that they have found something new in the world of wine yet this country has a wine history that challenges the knowledge of most wine 'experts' .

The Imbibe team is  currently working with a client to develop an innovative product that is a world first.  The winemaking expert of the Imbibe team, Tilman Hainle, has selected and is utilizing  some grape varietals that most oenophiles have never heard of yet, and that are possibly the basis of all varietals used in winemaking today, anywhere.

This fascinating country is home to the oldest known winery, and cultivates one of the largest quantity of wine grapes in the world. To date the majority of the grape production has gone to making brandy for the former Soviet states.  We hope what is currently fermenting will not only open up wonderful new opportunities for wine drinkers but will also provide important economic benefits to this proud nation of hard-working people.

Making a 'Dream' Winery come true.

British Columbia is one of Canada's great wine regions.  Not only does it offer climatic conditions well suited to growing grapes in a number of different micro-climates but years of effort to encourage quality winemaking are paying off.  The expertise and experience to develop and grow a successful industry is coming to fruition thanks to the work of both the public and private sectors.  With a wine industry that really only started in the early eighties thanks to pioneers like Tilman Hainle, the Okanagan has grown to a world class winemaking region within a relatively short period of time.

The majority of wineries in British Columbia are small operations founded and managed by people who are passionate about wine who want to 'live the dream'.  There is a tongue-in-cheek saying in the wine industry:

'It's easy to make a small fortune in the wine industry -- you just need to start with a big one' .

However, this does not need to be the case.

IMBIBEdesign is a new firm that was born out of a very real need to fill a gap in the wine industry - a firm that specializes and has assembled the most experienced / skilled diversity of professionals necessary to address all of the complexities of creating and building a successful wine business.

The wine industry is a complex business, and no person can be an expert in all its aspects -- farming, designing, building, marketing, financial management and winemaking.  Why are IMBIBEdesign associates different? They must all have a working knowledge and experience in their professions with respect to the wine industry.

We are not just designers and architects, engineers and accountants but professionals who know why a winery year end is different, what the term gravity flow means and that a successful marketing plan needs to be more than just a pretty label.  What that means to you is that whether you need a start up business plan, winery production layout or a complete vine to wine marketing and design program, you will be working with a team of experts in their fields who know the industry and you won't be paying for anyone's learning curve.

IMBIBEdesign takes advantage of today's advanced communication methods and technological tools to work efficiently and effectively as a team of experts that has been assembled from across North America. We do not pass the costs of carrying a large payroll with a bricks and mortar building on to you.

IMBIBEdesign: providing client-driven solutions to a complex industry.
